Itching

My Hepatologist started me on lactulose And Rifampin. Ask your doc if you are able to take these for relief of itching and lethargy

    Hi Julie, Yes the Rifampin really slowed the itching. Been taking it for 7 months. The lactulose I’ve taken for 6 weeks. I’m a little more with it. Not AS sleepy but still need naps. It’s to cleanse the liver of toxins (ammonia) because liver isn’t doing its job anymore.
