Hello I am Lindalee.

I have been recently diagnosed with NASH. I have been trying to lose weight for a long time and recently my blood work was showing high liver enzymes. I am trying to stay positive and motivate my self to move more and eat less. I have diabetes type 2 and I am over weight. I love swimming and water walking. I am taking mounjaro but not losing much. One of my doctors wants to take me off of mounjaro but I am not sure that is the best option. I have some doctors that are convinced that this is my best option.

  1. Hi Linda, welcome to the community! We're so happy you're here and grateful that you shared a bit of your story with us. Processing a new NASH diagnosis can be complicated, but it sounds like you are taking the steps you can to take care of yourself while remaining positive. Making lifestyle changes certainly isn't easy, but finding things you love, like swimming and water walking, is such a good way to make it worthwhile. May I ask how long you have been on mounjaro? I'm curious why your one doctor thinks you should stop. It's good that you have multiple doctors weighing in - getting another opinion is often necessary to make the best possible decisions for your own health. I did want to share a few articles with you that may be helpful:
