American Liver Foundation

The American Liver Foundation (ALF) is a leading organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of liver diseases. They offer a range of resources for those affected by NASH and other liver conditions.1

Support groups

ALF hosts in-person and virtual support groups where people with liver disease and caregivers can share experiences, get advice, and find emotional support. These groups are often led by healthcare professionals and provide a safe space for discussion.1

Global Liver Institute

The Global Liver Institute (GLI) is a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of people with liver diseases. GLI offers educational materials and resources to help people understand their condition and manage their health.2

GLI Appetite™

This nutrition app makes customized meal plans based on guidelines provided by GLI nutritional advisors. It caters to people with NASH and those with a general interest in liver health.2

NASH Knowledge

NASH Knowledge is a nonprofit dedicated to increasing public awareness about NAFLD and NASH. Their offerings include:3

British Liver Trust organizes local support groups where folks can connect with others facing similar challenges. These groups provide emotional support and practical advice.9
