Sue Green
Sue Green is a published author of the book “Don’t Call My Liver Fat: Liver Transplants 101.”
She developed liver cancer and cirrhosis with very few symptoms and was told she needed a liver transplant to survive. She had a living donor transplant in 2021.
Sue is a nurse and a social worker with an MBA from Rice University. She has clinical expertise and high-level consulting experience in healthcare, and she ran acute care hospitals for most of her career. Her greatest wish currently is to help people identify their own liver disease and avoid transplantation when possible. She hopes to help others to understand and cope with this illness.
